I admire his courage in general, however I think this was some sort of excuse to show the world that he isn't afraid to address or "take on" or challenge any group. I personally didn't see the point of the vid.

You call him presumptuous. That’s what he called himself as a preface to his remarks. Nevertheless, he threw caution to the wind. Risking offense is pretty much his brand. There’s a lot to admire in that even if he gets it wrong.

Lara Logan and Bernard-Henri Lévy have both predicted that islamists might kill over a million additional Nigerians in the near future. This is in addition to the hundreds of thousands of Nigerians islamists have already killed.

How can Nigeria's war with islamists ever end if the 14 century islamic civil war doesn't stop? How can the 14 century islamic civil war stop unless there is dialogue between muslims, which facilitates the sweetness of love melting hearts.

By doing what he can to encourage dialogue to start for the first time in 14 centuries, Jordan Peterson is doing God's work.

If not Jordan Peterson, then who?

Could Jordan Peterson's message have been better received by muslims than you think? Especially shiites, sufis and liberal muslims who are slaughtered all over the world in vast numbers daily by islamists? Over a hundred million liberal muslims and over a hundred million nonmuslims have been killed by islamists. And many muslims are likely to see this as Jordan Peterson esque tough love.

What did Jordan Peterson call for that hasn't been called for repeatedly by the prophet Mohammed SAW and muslim spiritual and political leaders for 14 centuries? Jordan Peterson's speech sounded very "islamic" or "muslim".

Anti Jewish hatred and bigotry is a huge problem among islamists and anti Jewish hatred by Islamists is continually denounced by liberal muslims. Why wouldn't muslims welcome an ally in Jordan Peterson?

The part where Jordan Peterson might be controversial is with respect to the Abraham Accords and Israel. And perhaps Jordan Peterson should have avoided mention of them.

The post modern culturally marxist woke are widely and strongly opposed across the muslim world. Many muslims want to ally with Jordan Peterson against them and I think muslims are right to do so. [Not to mention the way the global nonmuslim woke and marxists back islamists against liberal muslims, which directly leads to the daily slaughter of liberal muslims all over the world.]

There needs to be a lot more dialogue within the three Abrahamic faiths. And as one of the most influential and respected leaders and elders within the Abrahamic faith, Jordan Peterson is right to join and encourage it.

The Islamic civil war has continued for 14 centuries. It is time for it to end. The only way it can end is via dialogue. This dialogue has not happened for 14 centuries (or more precisely those who have engaged in dialogue for 14 centuries have been continually assasinated by islamists.)

Dialogue will lead to the sweetness of love melting hearts. May God bless Jordan Peterson for doing what he can to encourage it.
