Maybe Hitler Was Autistic Too
As The ADL Defends Musk's NAZI Salute
If there's anything the last few days has taught us, it’s the fact that the NAZI Seig Heil salute is the definitive diagnosis of autism, because, after watching the clip of Elon Musk very clearly give the NAZI salute, not once but twice, the interpretation some people have come up with is that Elon Musk was just being awkward as a result of autism.
So, safe to say, Hitler wasn't really evil, he was just autistic, perhaps even Stalin and Mao were just acting out their autism when they were carrying out their brutal atrocities.
Normal human beings saw what Elon Musk did and were rightly repulsed and disgusted by it, but not the NAZIs. They hailed it. People like calling them neo NAZIs these days, but that's just a fancy way of saying NAZI, they are actually NAZIs. These NAZIS were literally having orgasms as they watched Elon Musk perform the Hitler salute, because, for Elon Musk who is now the de facto president of the US to be able to do something like that out in the open, it's a signal to them that the coast is now clear, they are no longer pariahs they can come out of hiding.
Is anybody really surprised that Elon Musk gave the Hitler salute? He's allowed NAZIs run amok on X since he acquired it, why would anyone think he'd be any different now.
Here are just a few responses to Musk's NAZI salutes by right wing NAZIs -
Andrew Torba, founder of the far right Christian nationalist social media platform, Gab, shared the clip on his account with the caption "incredible things are happening already lmao"
Thomas Sewell, an Australian NAZI posted the video of Musk calling it a "Donald Trump White Power Movement"
The proud boys Ohio chapter went even further posting the clip to their telegram channel with the text, "hail Trump"
While normal people were understandably upset at this brazen antisemitic display by Elon Musk, you know who hasn't t said anything? Ben Shapiro, Ben-everything-is-antisemitic Shapiro, hasn't said a damn thing, but dare suggest Israel stops killing civilians in Gaza and Ben would froth in the mouth with rage. Ben Shapiro would make a one hour video crying about the Barbie movie but will keep mute about something like this, talk about priorities.
Even the ADL came out in defense of Musk, calling the salute a "awkward gesture." If there's anything Elon Musk has taught us is that, money can indeed buy you anything in this world, including immunity from repercussions. The same man who's let antisemitism run amok on X, agreed with an antisemitic tweet and is now giving NAZI salutes is being graciously defended by the ADL.
This act by Musk is no mistake, there is ample evidence to suggest Elon did that gesture on purpose and meant it as a NAZI salute, whether his intent was to "trigger the libs" is irrelevant, he did it on purpose. If it barks like a dog, it's a dog.
People keep underestimating the damage that Trump and his gang of oligarchs are doing or are going to do, they are normalizing very fringe far right behavior.
So, the next time someone asks you how the Germans could have supported Hitler, point them to the occasion when MAGA Republicans cheered on as Elon Musk repeatedly gave the NAZI salute at an inauguration rally of the US president.
Lastly, this autism excuse is just lame, because if that theory is true, then you’d find a lot more socially awkward people throwing the NAZI salute, repeatedly or doing the most egregious and socially taboo behavior like screaming the N word at every Black person they see and calling women the B word.

About the only thing the ADL does right is collect statistics and even then, their understanding of antisemitic dynamics, as opposed to legally defined antisemitic acts, tends to be poor. Greenblatt’s leadership has not been helpful. He’s an above-average lawyer with a middle manager’s perspective and temperament. What the ADL needs is a visionary who challenges our current understanding of speech and discriminatory behavior all the way up to the Supreme Court.
